Alaska Book of Origins and Raven

Alaska Book of Origins and Raven: Creating Our Art Book is a forum on Sept. 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the UAA Campus Bookstore. Dr. George P. Charles, Nancy Furlow and Dr. Phyllis Fast will discuss Raven and the meaning of duality from their own Alaskan Native Traditions. George Charles is a Yupiaq originally from Nelson Island, Alaska, and is fluent in Yupiaq Eskimo and English. Nancy Furlow is of the Raven Clan and Tlingit. Phyllis Fast is Koyukon Athabascan and author of Northern Athabascan Survival. Come watch as they create their own Book of Origins.
