Deadline for submitting all materials is Nov.15. The Angus Gavin Migratory Bird Research Grant was established in 1981 with a generous gift from the Atlantic Richfield Company to honor Mr. Gavin. Angus Gavin, a zoologist and engineer, studied the fragile environment of Alaska's North Slope as an environmental advisor to ARCO. The University of Alaska Foundation announced the availability of the 2008 Angus Gavin Memorial Bird Research Grant. For more information click here.
