Documenting Grant Transactions: Building and Retaining Adequate Documentary Support for your Charges interactive audio conference will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in LIBRARY 307 on Oct. 4. The most common reason that grant and sub-grant costs are questioned is the failure of recipients to generate, retain and retrieve sufficient documentary support. By the time auditors show up, many recipient organizations are forced to fall back on faulty at best institutional memory or reconstruct records. To save time and avoid these pitfalls, everyone who is involved with grants maintenance should register to attend.
