Fall 2007: Evacuation drills

UAA's annual building evacuation drills have already begun. University Police and electricians will be visiting each academic building between now and Sept. 19 to activate the fire alarm system. All occupants should evacuate quickly in an orderly fashion and assemble with your class or office group at a point at least 50 feet from the building. Once an evaluation has been made of all horns, strobes and bell hardware; the system will be silenced and an all clear announcement will be made that it is safe to enter the facility. Educational hand outs will be distributed as people come back into the buildings. Thank you for your cooperation.
