Terry Naumann is spending the beginning of the fall semester onboard the research vessel Kilo Moana as a member of a team focused on determining if recent episodes of volcanic activity created lots of young volcanic mounts around the Hawaiian Islands or if these mounts or merely made up of landslide debris.
