Elephant's Child

Auditions for the UAA Theatre for Young People, Department of Theatre and Dance production of The Elephant's Child will be held on Oct. 14 and 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium. Roles are available for three men and women as the adult animals in the jungle. Please be prepared to read from the script, sing (accompanist provided - please bring sheet music or a CD) and move or dance.

A rollicking musical romp through Africa, with original music by Tim Tucker, The Elephant's Child is based on Rudyard Kipling's classic. This adaptation follows the young elephant with curiosity on his quest through the jungle until we all find out how the elephant got his trunk. The production will run Dec. 6 through 16.
