Dr. LeeAnn Munk travels to Antarctica to Study Transport of Metals from Glaciers to Lakes

During the spring term 2008, Dr. LeeAnn Munk, Chair of the Department of Geological Sciences, will be taking a semester sabbatical to Antarctica where she will study the transport of metals from glaciers to lakes for the McMurdo Long Term Ecological Research project. This research is part of the National Science Foundation-OPP Grant awarded to the Byrd Polar Research Center at Ohio State University.
