Jan Jones is retiring

There will be a retirement reception for Jan Jones at the University Center in room 145 from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

Jan has worked for UAA for 28 years. She first was employed as the Assistant to the Dean of Rural Education under CCREE (Community Colleges, Rural Education and Extension) and later moved to the position of Assistant to the Vice Chancellor of Student Services at UAA at the time of the university reorganization. Jan later accepted the position of Program Assistant for the Educational Opportunity Center and has dedicated 20 years to this position, including chairing the Alaska College and Career Fair. Please join us in thanking Jan and in wishing her well in her future adventures.
