2008 Student showcase reception

Come see the best of the best works by UAA students at the UAA Student Showcase Release Reception Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the UAA Bookstore. Pick up a journal of the selected student works and enjoy refreshments. This celebration is to honor the students who presented their work and those who were selected to receive awards.
The student showcase highlights the extraordinary, original papers and projects created by UAA students. Students submit their best work for evaluation by objective faculty members in their discipline. The selected works are presented and community members are invited to offer their critique and comments.
The deadline for the next round of submissions is Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008. When you do great work at UAA, "It's more than an A!" For more information call 786-1215 or visit www.uaa.alaska.edu/campuslife/showcase/.
Awards for top papers and projects include: publication in the 2008 Student Showcase Journal, $200 cash and a $50 UAA Bookstore gift certificate.
