Spring 2008: Banff Mountain Film Festival this weekend

The Banff Mountain Film Festival features short independent films and documentaries about many extreme activities that will amaze you. From mountaineering to climbing, from bike races to sky diving, this film festival is one shocking display of the strength and beauty of mountain sports.
This annual event takes place March 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium. Purchase tickets online at www.uaatix.com or on campus at the Student Union Information Desk (907) 786-1204.
Admission:
UAA Students - $5 advance / $10 at the door
Youth (12 yrs and younger) - $5 advance / $10 at the door
General Admission - $10 advance / $15 at the door
Advance ticket sales ends at 4:00pm the day of the event.
