End apathy now--Make a run for UAA student government

The Union of Students at UAA sends the following message to all UAA students:

"Do you want to have a say in how this school is run? Then you should join student government. Elections are coming up in early April and the deadline for turning in candidacy packets has been extended to Friday, March 28."

Packets, available online at USUAA's website, must be turned in by 5 p.m. Submit them to Anita Bradbury in the Office of Student Life and Leadership (Student Union 218).

All positions are available. "If you don't want any competition," says USUAA, "no one is currently running for Concert Board or Media Board."

Elections are Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8 and 9. Polls will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
