Help welcome home the UAA women's basketball team

The NCAA Division II West Regional champion UAA women's basketball team will return to Anchorage on Wednesday and the public is invited to greet them upon their arrival at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The team is scheduled to arrive at 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday via Alaska Airlines flight 83 at the main terminal. Seawolf fans are encouraged to arrive no later than 11:30 a.m. and gather outside the security entrance.

Head Coach Tim Moser's team will advance to next week's NCAA Division II Women's Elite Eight in Kearney, Neb. UAA, 29-4, will meet Franklin Pierce, 27-5, in its first-round game at 9 a.m. ADT on Wednesday, March 26.
