by Kathleen McCoy  |

Friday afternoon's Biological Sciences departmental seminar, "Rearranging the deckchairs of earthship titanic: Is sustainability a moving target?", will be given by our UAA's Dr. Lillian (Na'ia) Alessa, Associate Professor of Biology, group leader of the Resilience and Adaptive Management Group and affiliate of the Water and Environmental Research Center.

Dr. Alessa's seminar is designed to fit with the second annual Sustainability Fair that Marcus Welker has been helping to organize (see next news item).

Her March 28 discussion is scheduled for 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Social Sciences Building, Room 118. The Biological Sciences seminar series is free and open to the public.

Parking is complementary on UAA's campus on Fridays. The Social Sciences Building is located north of Providence Hospital between UAA's Parking Garage and the UAA/APU Consortium Library.
