UAA student wins cool $1,000 for achievement

The UAA Department of Sociology congratulates Sociology major Brit DelMoral for being selected as the runner-up for the 2007-2008 Discovery Award, which recognizes "overall academic excellence that must include exceptional achievement in research or creative activities." The UAA College of Fellows Discovery Award Selection Committee awarded Ms. DelMoral $1,000 for her outstanding achievements.
