Welcoming Diversity Workshop to be held Friday

The Office of Campus Diversity and Compliance announced it is holding a one-day workshop Friday, March 28, on Welcoming Diversity/Prejudice Reduction, in which participants will learn about themselves and others. One of the workshop's themes is that "Welcoming Diversity includes everyone. Every person and group counts."

The workshop will be led by a team from both UAA and its affiliate, the National Coalition Building Institute. It is being offered to students, students leaders and club officers who will participate in an experiential process, identify information and misinformation learned about other groups, identify and express pride in the groups to which a person belongs, and other anti-prejudice activites.

The event's scheduled times were available.
