Who are the exemplary faculty mentors at UAA?

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship is soliciting nominations for the Faculty Exemplar Awards. These awards recognize faculty members who have demonstrated long-term, exemplary mentoring of undergraduate research and creative projects. Their contributions to student success are hallmarks of inspired teaching and active learning.

Please identify faculty in your departments that you feel make outstanding candidates for this high honor. The Faculty Exemplar Awards Committee meets in March of each academic year to consider the nominations. Nominations received by March 10, 2008 will be considered for this year's award.
