2008 Complex Systems Summer School scheduled June 16-20

Dr. John Pepper (University of Arizona and Santa Fe Institute) will serve as director of our 2008 Complex Systems Summer School that will take place on the UAA campus June 16-20.

The School will include morning lectures and discussions and afternoon computer modeling on real world problems. Lecturers include Dr. Chris Wood (Vice President, Santa Fe Institute), Dr. Luis Bettencourt (Los Alamos National Laboratory and Santa Fe Institute), Dr. William Tracy (Rensallear Polytechnic Institute and Santa Fe Institute) and Dr. Carlo Maley (Wistar Institute).

Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the day. The class costs $515 (tuition and fees). Individuals who have recently attended a class at the University of Alaska can register for this course using UAOnline (http://uaonline.alaska.edu). Register for CRN 52146, CPLX A500-301, Survey of Complex Systems, which can be found in the summer school offerings.

Individuals who have not attended the University of Alaska will need to click here to submit an application for admission as a non-degree seeking student.
