UAA's Engineering, Science & Project Management (ESPM) Department will host the 4th International Project Management (ProMAC2008) Conference at the Captain Cook Hotel in downtown Anchorage from Sept. 15-18. The conference will serve as an important forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences to revolutionize today's project management knowledge and techniques for the future. About 300 participants will come from Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Australia, other Pacific Rim nations, across Alaska and other states to attend the conference.

Local participation is critical to the success of the conference, and to promote Alaska and UAA as a mecca for Project Management. UAA faculty participation is greatly desired, and will be deeply appreciated.

For information on the ProMAC Conference, please see the ProMAC Web site at: www.uaa.alaska.edu/promac/ or contact the Project Manager, Stephanie Adams, at (907) 786-1940, or at ansra1@uaa.alaska.edu.
