2008-2009 Permit Pricing

UAA Parking Services sets permit rates to meet operating and capital expenses. As costs increase and with new obligations like the ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building parking garage, UAA Parking Services must make rate adjustments to meet these requirements. Rates will increase for parking permits in the fall, hourly meters and Pay-N-Park this spring and summer parking enforcement starting in 2009.

In an effort to minimize personnel costs, Parking Services encourages the UAA community to purchase parking permits online. You can save money by purchasing your parking permit online at www.thepermitstore.com and your permit will be mailed to you. If you are concerned about a delay in receiving the permit this way, you can print a temporary permit from your account at www.thepermitstore.com.

Annual permits are good for fall, spring and summer.

Reminder: Parking enforcement starts the same day classes start each semester.

Early Bird Specials (Annual Permits Only)

If you purchase an annual parking permit online from July 7 to July 31:

Yellow Annual - $180
Green Annual - $100

If you purchase an annual parking permit online from August 1 to August 24:

Yellow Annual - $205
Green Annual - $125

Yellow Permits (All Day)

  • Yellow permits allow parking in any UAA surface lot
  • Portable decal that adheres to window, and is removable for use on multiple cars
  • $140 for a semester permit
  • Starting August 25: $230 for an annual permit

Green Permits (Night 4-7:30 p.m.)

  • Green permits allow parking in any UAA surface lots
  • Portable decal that adheres to window, and is removable for use on multiple cars
  • $75 for a semester permit
  • Starting August 25: $145 for an annual permit

Summer Permits (All Day)

  • $25 entire summer, surface lots
  • $50 entire summer, garage

Platinum Permits (Garage) Available July 7, 2008

  • Platinum permits allow parking in the garage and in any UAA surface lots
  • Portable decal that adheres to window, and is removable for use on multiple cars
  • $160 per semester (fall and spring only)

Housing Permits (Student Residents Only)

  • Housing permits allow parking in the University Housing lots when accompanied by a Housing sticker
  • Vehicle must remain at Housing or must utilize a metered space or Pay-N-Park if parked on main campus
  • Portable decal that adheres to window, and is removable for use on multiple cars
  • $50 per semester (fall and spring only)
