Work/life enrichment opportunities for UA employees

Join Anita C. Madison, Vice President of Account Training and Consulting at ComPsych Corporation in Chicago, for "Effective Communication" and "Getting It All Done: Managing Time, Priorities and Deadlines," on Wednesday, June 25. Both of these workshops are free and open to University of Alaska employees. The workshops last approximately 45-60 minutes. Registration is not required but please secure supervisor approval in advance to ensure proper coverage at your worksite.

Effective Communication
Assess your own level of interpersonal communication; learn the characteristics of effective communication; and explore the importance of listening and using whole messages.

Getting It All Done: Managing Time, Priorities and Deadlines
Learn strategies for scheduling, planning and prioritizing. Learn tips to manage your papers, to conquer procrastination, and identify time wasters and how to avoid them.

Anita C. Madison is an adjunct faculty member in two business schools and holds a master's degree in organizational behavior from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Management/Marketing from Penn State University. She brings 25 years of "real world" business management and organizational leadership to her work.
