Consortium Library, room 307

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) invites you to a brown bag faculty and staff forum, "Copyright Issues in Higher Education," on Monday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Consortium Library, room 307.

Bring your lunch and questions! Presenters include Fay Tomlinson, Intellectual Property Attorney, Seattle, Washington, and Diane McLean, Director of Intellectual Property and Licensing, University of Alaska.

Many new copyright issues and expectations have risen in recent years, particularly with respect to the use of materials found online. Please join two intellectual copyright experts for an informal question and answer session on copyright protection issues in higher education.

All faculty and staff are invited to attend. To R.S.V.P., or for additional information, e-mail aner@uaa.alaska.edu.
