Dr. Susan Albers talks about "Eating Mindfully"

Psychologist and author of Mindful Eating 101: A Guide to Healthy Eating in College and Beyond, Dr. Susan Albers, will speak at the University of Alaska Anchorage at noon on Monday, Sept. 15 at the Student Union Den and 6 p.m. at the Gorsuch Commons.

Dr. Albers presents techniques for anyone who has struggled with chronic dieting, weight control and psychological stress due to mindless eating.

Her book Eating Mindfully is about learning to develop a nonjudgmental awareness and acceptance of your self, weight and eating habits.

Dr. Albers is a psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic Women's Health Center and specializes in relationship and weight issues.
