On Thursday, Oct. 9 from 6-7 p.m., the Cama-i Room presents professor Jim LaBelle for a discussion of the Alaska Native Claims and Settlement Act (ANCSA) that was established in 1971. Learn about why it was created and who was effected by it.

ANCSA created Alaska Native regional corporations and Jim will share his experiences working with corporations. This act is a monumental part of Alaska's recent history. Join us to gain a better understanding of the act and its impact on Alaska.
