Fall 2008: New parking lot opens today

Parking Services and Facilities and Campus Services are pleased to announce the opening of a new "Piper" parking lot. The UAA Seawolf Shuttle will begin pickup and drop-off service to the Piper parking lot, located south of Providence Drive (click here for map), the future location of the new Health Sciences Building.

Service begins on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and will be available from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Campus drop-off locations will be the Bookstore and Rasmuson Hall. These may be expanded as use requires. Return trips to the parking lot from the Bookstore and Rasmuson Hall will be on a request basis. Riders wanting shuttle service to other campus locations will need to transfer to the proper campus shuttle. This is a pilot program and will be adjusted as ridership requires.
