Attend the Alaska Resources 2009 Conference for free

Register by Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. to attend for free

The Resource Development Council (RDC) invites UAA students to attend the 29th annual conference, "Alaska Resources 2009: Alaska at 50," for free. Attendees will hear directly from industry experts and government policy makers on the critical issues that impact Alaska's oil, gas, mining and other resource development sectors. More than 600 people are expected to attend the conference, including decision-makers across all resource industries and economic sectors, as well as Native corporation executives, state legislators, federal, state, and local government officials and educators. RDC's conference is Alaska's most established and highest profile resource development forum of the year.

Special registration forms for UAA students are available through the UAA Dean of Students Office, Student Union 204; by phone at (907) 786-1214; or by e-mail at aydos@uaa.alaska.edu. The $375 non-member registration fee will be waived for UAA students who complete and return a conference registration form to the UAA Dean of Students Office, Student Union, Room 204, by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
