2008 Aviation Week continues at UAA

Aviation Week is a program designed by student leaders in the residential community as a way to engage residents and encourage participation in the aviation community and aviation field of study.

Members of the Anchorage aviation community and UAA faculty from the Aviation Department serve as guest speakers and facilitate programs throughout the week.

Here is a list of the programs that will be offered during Aviation Week. There is no charge for anyone and anybody can participate.

Note: all nightly movies will be shown in the 2nd Floor Lounge of East Hall

Monday, Nov. 17, 9 p.m.: movie
Tuesday, Nov. 18, 6 p.m.: paper airplanes at the East Desk
Tuesday, Nov. 18, 9 p.m.: movie
Wednesday, Nov. 19, 7 p.m.: ATC game
Wednesday, Nov. 19, 9 p.m.: movie
Thursday, Nov. 20, 6 p.m.: dinner with Bill Butler
Thursday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m.: movie with Bill Butler
Friday, Nov. 21, 6:20 p.m.: Seawolf Hockey (shuttle from East Lobby)
Saturday, Nov. 22, 11:30 a.m.: Anchorage center tour
Saturday, Nov. 22, 7 p.m.: flight simulation (East Hall, 3rd Floor)
Sunday, Nov. 23, 9 p.m.: movie
