The metric traditionally employed to track and measure "student success" throughout the country does not recognize all the things UAA does to assist its students to achieve their academic goals. In an effort to address these deficiencies, UAA's Office of Institutional Planning, Research & Assessment has designed and implemented a new model for tracking student progress and goal attainment.

The findings are dramatically different, and the implications of this new model are beginning to be discussed nationwide. This presentation will describe the model and initial findings about the Anchorage campus.

This presentation is sponsored by Faculty Senate and the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence. Please contact Lauren Bruce at aflkb@uaa.alaska.edu for additional information.
