In collaboration with UAA Music professors Mari Hahn and Karen Strid-Chadwick, Fran Lautenberger will direct a new and exciting production of the Stephan Schwartz musical, Godspell. Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, and featuring a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus. It has a message of kindness, tolerance and love, with a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit, "Day By Day." This is a musical celebration for the entire family. Conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak. Music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwarz.
