UAA announces new Associate Vice Provost for Curriculum and Assessment

The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that Dr. T. Bart Quimby has agreed to accept the position of Associate Vice Provost for Curriculum and Assessment. His activities will include assisting faculty and administration from all academic units on curriculum issues and program assessment, contributing to academic planning and policy development, and supporting institutional and program accreditation efforts.

Dr. Quimby, Professor of Civil Engineering at UAA, brings a history of leadership to Academic Affairs along with valuable experience as a problem solver and an advocate for academic quality. His presence in this office will help us respond more quickly and directly to initiatives and challenges in each college and to collaborate more effectively with the academic boards and faculty leadership.
