Gorsuch Commons

USUAA and Seawolf Dining Services are happy to offer a FREE full Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Gorsuch Commons. This meal is open to any and all. The Thanksgiving Feast provides a free meal for students who do not otherwise have plans for Thanksgiving. There is a variety of traditional Thanksgiving food being served as well as vegetarian and vegan options.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to donate toward the Heath Center's Emergency Food Cache Program. The program provides a three-day supply of food to students who cannot temporarily afford food.

USUAA started the Thanksgiving Feast program more than 20 years ago when USUAA senators decided to get together and prepare food themselves for students without Thanksgiving plans. Since then, the program has evolved and taken on new partners, including Seawolf Dining and Residence Life. Last year the Feast fed nearly 400 students.

Please contact the USUAA Office at (907) 786-1205 or aygetinvolved@uaa.alaska.edu for more information.
