AQR First Friday gears up again

Alaska Quarterly Review's First Friday series continues at 5:30 p.m Friday Feb. 6, hosted by Snow City, 1034 W. 4th Ave. in downtown Anchorage.

This series brings together creative voices in the visual, performing and literary arts from the Anchorage area and across Alaska. An art reception featuring the works of Gina Edwards egins at 5:30 p.m., followed by music and readings at 7 p.m. Members of the UAA Opera Ensemble will perform scenes from Spanish Zarzuela and speakers will offer readings from the pages of the Alaska Quarterly Review.
