This seminar will provide insights to help guide the complex dynamics between evaluators, funders and stakeholders of different cultures.

Dr. Bernard Segal is former director of the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies, UAA, and currently Professor Emeritus at UAA. His research focused on health disparities, cross-cultural substance abuse issues and treatment evaluation that led to culturally based treatment outcome in Alaska. Dr. Segal has published several books, reports and articles, and achieved funded research awards. He has collaborated with researchers in Russia, Israel and Japan.
