Spring 2009: See the film "The Land is Ours"

In honor of Elizabeth Peratrovich Day (Feb. 16) and Alaska Civil Rights Month, view the film "The Land is Ours" this evening from 7-9 p.m. in the UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307.
The film presents the Tlingit and Haida struggles in seeking equality and compensation for land taken by the federal government. This film will be introduced by Willy Templeton, director of UAA Native Student Services. Light refreshments will be offered. The event is presented by UAA/APU Books of the Year program.
