UAA students take Miss Fur Rondy laurels

Three UAA students have been crowned the Queen and the First and Second Princess in the 2009 Miss Fur Rondy Pageant.

Jazmine Williams, an accounting major, is the newly crowned Queen and the first African-American to earn this title. Kaela Larson, who will graduate from UAA after this semester with a degree in elementary education, is the First Princess. Hannah Tweit, also a major in accounting, took Second Princess honors.
