TONIGHT: Community forum on the future of subsistence

Join us this evening, March 4, from 7-9 p.m. in the UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307 as the UAA/APU Books of the Year program hosts a community forum on the future of subsistence. Larry Merculieff of Seven Generations Consulting, Anna Phillips Davidson of the Alaska Conservation Foundation, and Tim Andrew of the Association of Village Council Presidents will discuss the challenges of applying traditional ways of knowing in subsistence management, and the legal frameworks evolving to accommodate subsistence activities.
