Spring 2009: Student Showcase presentation planned on Alaska reindeer herds

Alain Beauparlant, graduate student in the UAA master's program, will present at the 25th Annual Student Showcase Academic Conference this evening at 7:15 p.m. in the Student Union. His talk is titled "An Ethnohistory of Alaska's Reindeer Herds: Globalization and Development in Northwest Alaska from 1890 to 1940."
The Student Showcase continues Friday.
