Undergraduate internship, conference applications are due this Friday

Applications for the Policy Research Internship Award are due Friday, March 27 at 5 p.m. These awards are presented to outstanding students in the social sciences and other applicable fields interested in the analysis of public policy issues. The selected student will contribute research and analysis skills to a forthcoming publication published by the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) and will be awarded a $1,500 stipend. Applications are also due Friday for undergraduates interested in attending the Student Conference on United States Affairs (SCUSA). This conference is devoted to international relations, economics, political science and related social science fields . It is held each fall at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point. Delegates participate in round table discussions and generate policy proposal papers on a variety of current issues. Full funding is available for two UAA students, selected in a competitive application process, to attend this conference. Find details at the Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Web site.
