Classified Council elections are upon us

Nominations close on Tuesday, April 14 at 5 p.m.
Classified Council is holding its annual election this month. We have 10 Anchorage seats available with two-year terms (2009-2010 and 2010-2011), and one with a one-year term (2009-2010).
We also have seats available for Kodiak College, Kenai Peninsula College and Prince William Sound Community College. All of those seats are two-year terms (2009-2010 and 2010-2011).
The nominations period is open until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14. Voting will take place in mid- to late-April, and new members will be notified by May 1. Newly elected members will begin their service with the May 7 Classified Council meeting.
