Spring 2009: Dance Together Alaska set for this weekend

Friday, April 24-Sunday, April 26

Come join us for UAA's 3rd Annual Dance Together Alaska Festival (DTAF), a unique, Alaska event which unites dance students, educators, choreographers and audiences for a three-day celebration of all dance forms.

We are offering over 30 classes taught by local dance professionals in styles such as Afro Fusion, East Coast Swing, ballet, hip hop, social dance, juggling, salsa, contact improvisation, and musical theatre. The finale performance consists of 16 established Alaska performing groups, solos, and duets including UAA Dance Ensemble, Alaska Dance Theatre, Dance Spectrum Alaska, Momentum and Ritmovida.

• 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Classes in PSB 162, Fine Arts Mainstage and Harper Studio
• 7 p.m. Finale performance at Fine Arts Mainstage
