June 20, 2009: Mayor's Marathon seeks first-aid volunteers

The Mayor's Marathon medical staff is looking for anyone interested in volunteering to work in a first-aid capacity on the marathon and half-marathon courses. Requirements include:
- medical experience: First-Aid Certification and above
- work at one of the aid stations along the race course (with a partner) or be a "medical biker" along a section of the course
- volunteer time approximately 2-6 hours
- First-Aid kits provided, plus a free T-shirt
