UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307
Sustainability Director Paula Williams has arranged for a teleconference on energy issues for Wednesday, April 15 from 8-9:30 a.m. in Library 307. The teleconference will explore these core trends:
- incorporation of social costs in energy economics (ie., environmental markets)
- regionalism, federalism and energy independence
- globalization, both waxing and waning
- capital markets restructuring and what the implications are for renewables' development
A panel of experts will review these issues currently and consider not only their impact on near-term public policy but also the future of these policies as they shape the modern energy economy.
