TODAY, April 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Student Union and South Cafeteria

Get out your favorite cowboy hat, dust off your boots and come join us for a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. The Architecture and Engineering Club at UAA is raising money for the local chapter and to assist the AE Club in travelling to the Galveston/Houston area to build homes for Habitat for Humanity. Each summer the AE club travels south to assist an area in need of volunteers. In the last five years the AE club has traveled to Miami, FL, Port Sulfur, LA, New Orleans, LA, Baton Rouge, LA and Charleston, SC.

Music, silent Western movies, three different flavors of chili, cornbread, soft drinks, carnival games, door prize of $100 gift cards from Simon and Seaforts, and a live and silent auction with thousands of dollars worth of auction items are all on the agenda. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. in the UAA Student Union North and South Cafeteria.

If you have questions, the UAA contact is Bob Maxwell at (907) 786-4914. The Habitat for Humanity Anchorage contact is Jan Cawvey at (907) 272-0800. Find out more at AEclubUAA.com or hfhanchorage.org.
