Spring 2009: Learn about the Bachelor of Liberal Arts Studies program at UAA

The Bachelor of Liberal Arts Studies Capstone Presentations and Alumni Reunion is planned today, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307. The line-up of presenters and topics includes Alaskan audiologists, dancers, teachers, emergency services providers and porcupines!

The presentations include a video showing how Chelsea Higgins produced an original choreography. Christa Martin describes audiology practices in rural Alaska. The results of a community-wide survey of EMS services in Soldotna will be presented by Terry Martin. Rachael Lehmkuhl Donaldson will discuss the results of her research on how porcupines at the Alaska Zoo process toxins. Caroline Willis will describe the production of a video story about how UAA prepares culturally responsive teachers.
