An important announcement will be made today. Here are the details:
Who: UAA Chancellor Fran Ulmer, UA President Mark Hamilton, students, faculty, staff and public.
What: Chancellor Ulmer will deliver a history-making announcement that will change the lives of students at UAA for generations to come.
Where: UAA's Anchorage campus, ANSEP building atrium
When: TODAY, Friday, May 1, 1 p.m.
Why: UAA kicks-off Commencement weekend with a celebratory event that will energize students, inspire the community, serve as an example of generosity and hope in Alaska.
