New student art show, The Fox's Chest, continues through July 1

The Fox's Chest is an exhibition of mixed-media artworks by Anton Kadtsin, featuring elements of a large-scale installation that shows a blend of literature in the context of Asia mythology. Kadtsin was the winner of the Best in Show award at the No Big Heads National Juried Self-Portrait Exhibition in 2008.

The Fox's Chest will open with a reception and light refreshments from 4-5:30 p.m. today in the Student Union Gallery. The work will be available for viewing through Wednesday, July 1. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Student Union Gallery is located on the second floor of the Student Union Building on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.
