Staff compensation is topic of report before Board of Regents

Board of Regents meets: June 4-5

Chief Human Resources Officer Beth Behner will outline for the Board of Regents at the June 4-5 meeting issues addressed by the Compensation Task Force during the past year.

In its draft recommendation, the Compensation Task Force was charged with reviewing the impact of moving from separate grid and step increases to a single overall adjustment, which is preferred by the Alaska State Legislature.

The board agenda contains a two-page summary of the issue, including some background and proposed changes to the staff salary grid, which is slated for Board of Regents' action.
