UAA's annual Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Student Research Symposium will be held this Friday, August 7. Student 15-minute oral presentations will take place in UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 302, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Student poster presentations will take place in the Ecosystem-Biomedical Health Laboratory (EBL) from 1:30-3 p.m.

This program is a 10-week, National Science Foundation-sponsored experience that actively engages undergraduates in faculty-mentored research in the areas of Ecology and Physiological Ecology. The program is hosted by the Department of Biological Sciences and this year includes nine students who came to UAA from across the country.
