Love Always, Mickey: A benefit concert is Sept. 25

The UAA Music Department presents a memorial concert to honor Mickey Belden. Proceeds will benefit music scholarships. Mickey Belden was a beloved member of the voice faculty for 30 years, and sadly died of a brain tumor in July. Her love for music and dedication to teaching were an inspiration to students and colleagues alike.
Performers include violinist David Belden, trombonist and composer George Belden, singers Marlene Bateman, Kate Egan and Mari Hahn, pianists Timothy Smith and Karen Strid-Chadwick, trombonist Christopher Sweeney, violinist Walter Olivares and clarinetist Mark Wolbers.
Admission is by donation.
