How to Deal with Student Complaints/Disputes

UAA has a variety of procedures available for handling student complaints or disputes, depending upon the nature of the problem. Please join Patty Linton, Associate Dean for Curriculum and Students in the College of Arts and Sciences, to learn more about the kinds of student complaints or academic disputes that occur most often, and the resources provided by the university to address these issues.

What You Should Know Before Submitting Faculty Development and Travel Grant Applications

Learn how to put together your application for a Faculty Development or Travel Grant (due on Oct. 15 or Mar. 15). This session will look at the applications from the perspective of the Grants and Leaves Committee, specifically what they are looking for, how they assign ratings, and how the ratings are presented to the Provost.
