Fall 2009: Dean of Students Office offers workshop on dealing with difficult students

The Dean of Students (DOS) Office will present workshops for staff, adjunct and faculty to assist them in dealing with difficult or disruptive students. Included in the workshop are strategies of interventions to deal with a variety of difficult encounters as well as protocols to get assistance from DOS student conduct officers and counselors. Staff and faculty are invited to attend and share their experiences.

The two presenters will be Michael Votava, assistant director of student conduct, and Michael Turner, professor of counseling. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Turner at (907) 786-6158.
